The space

Villa Colibrí MX is a luxurious seven bedroom retreat located in beautiful Old Town Vallarta. This 7500 square foot Villa is divided into four sophisticated private apartments each with their own kitchen, living and dining areas. This unique design offers up to 16 guests that extra bit of privacy for that perfect getaway within a getaway.

Lush tropical gardens throughout the Villa provide the ideal surrounding to view the dozens of hummingbirds which visit daily. It’s only fitting that each residence (ELOISA, BERILO, RUFO and CANELO) has been named after these magical creatures.

A mix of private and shared terraces offer spectacular views of the Town, Banderas Bay, Sierra Madre Mountains and the majestic Crown of Our Lady Guadalupe.

A heated rooftop salt water pool, lounge areas and bar provide the perfect day or night setting for rest and relaxation. With an emphasis on outdoor living, the inner courtyard is just one of many areas where groups can gather for business and/or pleasure. Whether it be for a wedding, or a romantic dinner for two VILLA COLIBRÍ has you covered.

Villa Colibrí Is uniquely suited to host large and small gatherings such as weddings, reunions, birthdays and corporate and not-for-profit events. Permission is required prior to booking and event fees will apply.

Guest access

Rooftop amenities include heated saltwater pool, two lounge areas with umbrellas, bar and dining area (seating for up to 16).

Berilo has a private terrace with mixed casual seating, loungers and dining table (seating for 8). Villa Colibrí's inner courtyard has a mix of casual seating, dining area (seating for 8+) and a built-in 4 burner Weber barbecue with rotisserie. Berilo has it's own private barbecue as well. VILLA COLIBRÍ's front courtyard has a mix of casual seating and lush tropical gardens.

The Villa is serviced by high speed Fibre Optic cable. The entire property is covered by WIFI W/6 separate broadcasting access points.

BERILO has a fully equipped kitchen with full sized refrigerator and gas range/oven. It also comes with a 12-cup coffee maker, 2-slice toaster, microwave and an assortment of cookware, bakeware, dinnerware, glassware, stemware, cutlery, cooking utensils, serving platters and bowls. Complimentary pantry items include include salt, pepper, Maggis seasoning sauce, garlic powder and tajin seasoning.

BERILO's living area has a 55 inch Samsung LED Smart television. At VILLA COLIBRÍ we offer complimentary Netflix / IPTV . A Harmon Kardon system for streaming music from your bluetooth enabled device is also available in the apartment.

The bedrooms are air conditioned. Ceilings fans are located throughout the apartment.

Soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, paper products, bath, hand and beach towels provided. 800 thread count sheets and pillowcases with duvet also provided.

Laundry facilities are also available. Personal items may be laundered for a small fee. Not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged articles. Eloisa is equipped with an iron and ironing board.

A security safe is provided.

Additional notes

Housekeeping is provided at no extra cost. Our houseman is onsite and is fluent in both Spanish and English. A concierge service is also available. Our staff works Monday through Saturday (excluding national holidays). Staff gratuities have not been included in the rental price.

We recommend that you use the filtered water provided at no extra cost.

Neighborhood overview

Set in the Vallarta neighborhood of Emiliano Zapata, Villa Colibri is but a short stroll away from exquisite restaurants, shops, nightlife, markets and the beach. With an emphasis on the outdoors, the courtyards are just one of many areas where groups gather. Whether it be for a wedding or a romantic dinner for two, Colibri has you covered.

Getting around

Villa Colibrí MX is walking distance away from restaurants, bars, local shopping and the Gay Village. Day trips for a variety of activities (such as zip lining, ATV tours, Botanical Gardens and whale watching) are also easily accessible and can be arranged by our Concierge service. UBER and taxi service also available.

House Rules

Tenants are required to act in a responsible manner at all times, and to act with respect towards other tenants, the neighbors of Villa Colibrí MX, and the staff. Unlawful activities or rowdy behavior is not allowed and the tenants may be evicted immediately, without refund or compensation for any unused portion of the reservation.

Smoking is not permitted inside the residences/apartments or on the terraces. Smoking is only permitted in the Bar area on the rooftop. Use the ashtrays provided.

Glass objects (drinking glasses, plates, etc) are not permitted in the pool area.

Unaccompanied minors (anyone under 18 years old) are not permitted.

A guest is any person invited onto the property by the tenants. The number of guests allowed on the property is limited to two guests per apartment, to a maximum of eight guests for the entire Villa at any given time. Gatherings of more than eight guests will constitute an event. Permission from the owner's for all events on the property must be granted prior to the event. Additional fees, terms and conditions may apply.

The number of overnight guests on the property is limited to a maximum occupancy of two persons (registered tenants or guests) per bedroom.

Guests may use the common elements of the property as long as at least one tenant is in attendance. At no time will a guest be left unaccompanied on the property.

Under no circumstances may furniture be moved between apartments without prior consent by the owners.

Any excessive cleaning, loss or damage to the property, or debts or charges incurred will be itemized and charged to the tenant.
